NEW YORK- WORLD NEWS TOMORROW: Celebrating a sweep of five primaries on Tuesday night the past governor of Massachusetts said that “Tonight is the start of a new campaign” discharging Obama as a man whose in office has been marked by “false promises and weak leadership.” This is the first contest since Santorum accepted the race.  Former Pennsylvanian senator announced that he intends to sit down with Romney’s representatives on Wednesday and then with Romney personally in the following weeks.

Santorum said that Romney is going to be the nominee and I am going to support the nominee. Romney displayed self-assurance Tuesday night and will intensify fundraising efforts Wednesday and Tuesday secretly to prepare for what could be the most expensive presidential contest in the history of the American politics.  He is facing a 10-to-1 hard cash drawback in a general election matchup against the Democratic president.
Officials requested inscrutability to discuss internal decisions and confirmed that Romney would begin to open some finance events to reports as early as next week, it may be among his final private meetings with donors.  The presumptive Republican nominee at least six closed door fundraising events in two days in New York and New Jersey

One campaign official said that Romney would  in the coming week probably begin inviting a small group of reporters into larger fundraising events, particularly those in which the candidate offers remarks, largely the same policy Obama follows.  The ground rules have yet to be finalised. Since Santorum suspended his campaign two weeks ago, Romney has been free to focus on Obama and essentially declared the beginning of the general election on Tuesday night.  The primary nasty battle was ended that took a heavy financial tool and prevented Romney from stockpiling cash to use against his Democratic opponent.

Former house speaker Newt Gingrich vowed to carry on with his campaign in North Carolina through the week. “Over the next few days, we are going to look realistically at where we’re at,” Gingrich told supporters Tuesday night in Concord, N.C.Romney’s conservative credentials were recently aggressively questioned by Gingrich and Santorum.  Romney success will depend on his ability to compete with Obama’s bank account, at least in part.
Election day is 6 November and Obama reported that he had spent nearly $90 million on the general election have more than $104 million in his account.  According to federal filings At the end of March, Romneys’s campaign had only about 10 million in the bank.

After Tuesday’s primary wins in New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Delaware, Romney was eager to turn the political page.
He urged all who are struggling in a shaky economy to “hold on a little longer, a better America begins tonight” and he told supporters gathered in New Hampshire “after 43 primaries and caucuses, many long days and not a few long nights, I can say with confidence and gratitude that you have given me a great honor and solemn responsibility,”

In 2004, the two major-party candidates set a record of $700 million. A modern fundraising record was set by Obama in 2008 when he and his Republican rival Sen. John McCain spent more that more than $1 billion combined with $730 million spent by Obama.Shortly after becoming his party’s presumptive nominee in June 2008, Obama opened his finance events to press coverage.  As president, if he makes remarks during the event, no matter how big or small, the press is allowed in and largely plays by the same rules.Romney’s campaign refused to provide locations and specific fundraising specific times of this week’s events.
