World News Tomorrow – The world’s diminishing water supply carries serious security, development and social risks, and could adversely affect global health, energy stores and food supplies, said the report titled “The Global Water Crisis: Addressing an Urgent Security Issue.”

According to statistics and research 55% of Chinas Rivers has dried up in the last 20 years. According to the European Centre for Information Policy and Security ( ECIPS ) the shortage of water might affect as much as 1 Billion people by the end of 2020.  What will the results be when 15% of the worlds people has no water to drink and how will governments cope with it, and what is the solution ?

The European Centre for Information Policy and Security ( ECIPS  research centre said that this could effect security at huge scale and certainly have an impact on our economies. This is certainly on the top three threats of human survival and one wonder where this will lead to ?

Europe is already facing shortage of water and it is estimated that the price of water will drastically increase in the next few year, however this is to be debates if this will solve the problems and who’s pockets the money will flow too.

Experts said that some 3,800 cubic kilometers of fresh water are extracted from aquatic ecosystems around the world each year, largely as a result of global warming.
