WORLD NEWS TOMORROW – The £148.6 million jackpot won on Friday night is the country’s second-largest ever. It is just behind the £161 million Colin and Chris Weir, from Largs in North Ayrshire, landed last July in the EuroMillions.
The difference in the exchange rate means this week’s jackpot was slightly less.

A National Lottery spokesman said: “We are still waiting for the ticket holder to come forward and claim.”The UK has notched seven EuroMillions’ jackpots so far in 2012.More than 2,900 people have become millionaires since the National Lottery began, raising £28 billion for good causes
