On the 25th of november 2016 at 10h29 (03h29 London time) former president and commander in chief of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro has died.

This announcement was made on state television by Raul Castro, Cuba’s current president. Fidel Castro was the leader of Cuba’s one party state for nearly 50 years.
Today the commission in charge of the funeral will give details about “the post-mortem homage that will be paid to the founder of the Cuban Revolution”.
